The Arrernte bird app has been created by senior Arrernte knowledge custodian MK Turner with members of her family, through the Arrernte Language Office at Batchelor Institute, Alice Springs. MK is using her app as a way to guide younger family members as they learn more about birds, their habitats, the plants they eat and the cultural meanings that they have.
